DVS1, the visionary behind groundbreaking platforms HUSH, The Wall of Sound, Mistress Recordings, S.O.S., Aslice, and Support the Sound, whose bold experiments and acoustic innovations have pushed techno into entirely new dimensions, will return on November 13 alongside Japanese techno titan Wata Igarashi, the mastermind behind the WIP record label. Wata Igarashi is a master of hypnotic, psychedelic sets, with a singular musical vision forged at the intersection of punk, free jazz, and sound design. His discography spans seminal releases on Midgar, The Bunker New York, and Bitta, followed by his 2023 debut album an imaginary film soundtrack, Agartha on Kompakt, and 2025's My Supernova on Dekmantel, distilling years of dancefloor experience into a cohesive techno narrative. A resident of the legendary Tresor Berlin and Tresor West and founder of the female-led label and event series SPELLBOUND, Shaleen is a DJ and producer known for her precise vinyl-only sets and deep, driving techno, mixing the spirit of the ’90s with contemporary sounds. Zesknel will perform live. Kvanchi, Kdema, and Nika J are back at Horoom, joined by Axel Boman, co-founder of Studio Barnhus, a house and left-field pop label, and a veteran of Swedish basement parties. His catalogue includes notable collaborative projects such as Frasier, Salax Peep Show, Man Tear, and Talaboman with John Talabot. His records have come out on Pampa, Mule Musiq, Permanent Vacation, DFA and Cocoon, and with John Talabot he records as Talaboman on R&S. Boman’s fluid, experimental sensibility was further showcased in The Radioactive Orchestra, an innovative transmedia art-meets-science project that translates the fundamental physics of nuclear decay into musical compositions, turning the subatomic energy of radioactive isotopes into sound and melody.
