COCOON IBIZA – 11th September 2017

The first September night of Cocoon 18 and we had one of the contenders for party of the year without a doubt. In a seething packed Amnesia it was difficult to know where to look or where to listen. On the terrace Hito started and Adam Beyer then delivered a simply marvellous experience to complement a Richie Hawtin masterclass. Over the way Nastia gave way to a brilliantly ferocious Slam and Ben Klock was just on fire. On the 4th September one of those Cocoon nights happened. Stunning.

In the Club :

SVEN VÄTH
Yes, an all night long in the Club and we know a few of you have been waiting for this for a while. And remember Sven has had 2 weeks away from HQ. Join on the dancefloor from the doors opening for a Sven occasion in the main room of Amnesia. What could be finer?

REDSHAPE LIVE
Oh, there is a serious interlude in the middle. You may have come across this masked invader by now, you certainly need to come across one of his live sets because they have been pulling up trees all over Europe. A classic Club night where we simply have no idea quite what will happen. You just gotta be there

Or here. Ric has perhaps his favourite cohort in the house tonight. The Perlon prince joins, normally they are in adjacent studios in Berlin but tonight one of those wonderful rare occasions where they share the same stage. Every Ricardo this year has thrilled, this tonight is the last but one of his exclusive Ibiza performances.

ZIP
Not one to shout about himself so let us do it for him. Perlon we mentioned, one of the most influential imprints there ever will be. But ask anyone who loves the music we all love, there is a chance at some point they encountered Zip behind the decks. Then they get poetic. He just does things no one else does. Come and witness for yourselves

DORIAN PAIC
He was a delight here with Ricardo mid July, as he always is frankly, and no surprise they join forces again tonight – this time in a Zip sandwich. If for some reason you had been told by a doctor not to dance for a week then tonight you could find a little corner, a place to perch on the terrace at 12 o’clock and close your eyes. Artists at work. 3 very special ones.

Sven in the main room and Ricardo on the terrace with so much more besides. These last parties – remarkable. Sorry to get repetitive.
