Daniel Avery headlines the opening weekend of September. Returning to the room for the fourth time, the UK artist possesses a rare capacity to bridge worlds. His truly cinematic productions fuse the thundering power of warehouse techno with widescreen awe, the towering sonics of rock and the violence of noise. It all comes together in something elegant, poised and even beautiful. Justine Perry makes her debut. The Kalt resident taps into a steely, hypnotic sound that calls back to some of the greatest subcurrents of the ‘90s. Darkly propulsive and textured down to an atomic level, Perry’s music envelops the listener. Lydo completes the trifecta. The BASEMENT resident is a master of focused, febrile psychedelia and driving power. An artist in constant evolution, LYDO’s depth and range can take the dancefloor from anywhere from locked-in kinetism to richly hued exploratory byways.

Por Detroit takes over STUDIO. The party, started in Mexico City and now with a presence in LA as well, is one of the boldest and best queer parties in North America. Zombies In Miami headline. The Mexican duo has become a cult favorite, beloved for their rowdy, unabashed club sets. Simply put, Zombies hold nothing back, pumping up the jams with the conviction of a zealot and the glee of a prankster. Ruthlessly fun, their recordings have been released by labels as esteemed as Running Back, Fabric, Live at Robert Johnson and Permanent Vacation. Por Detroit co-founder Perfect Lovers goes b2b with Bears In Space’s Victor Rodriguez. It’s not their first time in the room; their immaculate hedonism is too good to resist. The duo revel in the iconic lineages of queer dance culture, threading the needle through decades of naughty disco, pumping house, club edits, pop remixes and more. If it throbs, they’re playing it.
