We’ve given Finnebassen the run of Jæger for Frædag and we can’t be held responsible for the consequences. The last time he joined g-Ha & Olanskii at Jæger, Finnebassen absolutely rinsed our Funktion One system with the type of hard-hitting tunes that’s made him the formidable DJ he is today on the international scene. His roots are still grounded in Oslo however, and never a skip and hop away from playing his hometown and when we get the opportunity to invite Finnebassen back, we like to give him the room needs to stretch his skills behind the decks properly. His brand of “dirty, melancholic house music” is completely his own and has garnered the attention of Pete Tong amongst others, which led to a guest appearance on the UK DJ’s Essential Mix series for the BBC. Although Finnebassen is known for his productions, edits and remixes that have garnered the support of artists like Solomun, Hot Since 82 and Motorcitysoul, it’s his work behind the decks that make him a legend in Oslo and further afield, and really come to the fore in his all night sets.

But Finnebassen’s all night sets are not for the faint of heart and if you find yourself in need of a breath, our regular Frædag crew will be on hand on our second floor. Fridays at Jæger is always about the music with residents, g-Ha & Olanskii presiding over an evening that only ever features the best in dance music. With g-Ha & Olanskii’s steady hand at the decks, Frædag is about the music and bringing like-minded people together. Every Friday they focus on a concise evening’s musical programming that can go from Disco to Techno, and spares no stone unturned in their pursuit of good club music with g-Ha & Olanskii, Cellius, Oskar Pask and Ricky Late ensuring you hear the best that underground dance music has to offer.
