Héctor Oaks returns to set the record straight. A resident of both Bassiani and Herrensauna (could there be a cooler pairing?), Oaks plays with the fury of a punk the control of a grandmaster. Riotous, boisterous percussion, tweaked out synth accents, a chaotic yet coherent genre agnosticism… It’s all there, mixed at blinding BPMs. When you’re in the grip of a Héctor Oaks set, it’s hard to remember why music would ever sound any other way. Salon founder Ryker returns to the room, meeting Oaks’ defiant energy with a shimmering, mesmerizing sheen. A Ryker set barrels forth from the speakers with heaving grooves glazed with glistening surfaces.

Jason Kendig’s endless creativity and exceptional craftsmanship has been a blessing for STUDIO. The Honey Soundsystem co-founder has been responsible for one unforgettable session after another. Kendig marshalls decades of music fandom with impeccable technique and an undeniably soulful sense of storytelling. Sekucci matches the energy with an impeccable integration of vocal flips, throbbing low end, poised cool and jacking ferocity. Their tracks tap into a full-force power while never breaking a sweat. Gee Dee hits the room for the first time. The Making Time regular and Good Room resident has been a consistent presence in the East Coast nightlife community for over a decade. Gee Dee’s mixing is marked by an effervescent “anything goes” attitude that fuses genres while keeping the tempos rolling and the mood deep.
