David August curates an evening of entertainment at Jæger from top to bottom. We’ve given the DJ / Producer /Entertainer the run of Jæger for one night and he will infect every aspect of he venue with the musical personality behind his remarkable talent and he's enlisted the help of Lil Tony.

The last few years have seen David August go from strength to strength. Since his debut release, 'Instant Harmony' on Hamburg's hugely influential Diynamic, August’s is a name often revered through the underground elite for his innovative style and finding an affective balance between the functional elements of House music and the visceral aspects of composition. He’s been an unstoppable force since with highlights such as 'Hamburg Is For Lovers' (2011), heralding August's arrival as clubland's wunderkind and finding love from labels like Innervisions.

It was with his 2013 conceptual debut album 'Times' that August gave us a deeper glimpse into his artistry. 'Times 'saw August move beyond the dance-floor, creating an album focused heavily on live instrumentation and the use of his own vocals. During the year long-recording process of 'Times', August turned to the live format, with a show that won the acclaim of Resident Advisor and Boiler Room and saw him bridge the gap between DJ and performer, something we will be seeing the August bring to Jæger alongside Lil Tony.

No matter how you look at it, DJ Lil' Tony, born Toni Rantanen, is the central character in Helsinki club scene. A member of the prestigious Nuspirit Helsinki collective and his new electronic music project called Future Beat Investigatigators. 2007 he started his own Lil Tony production on top labels like Versatile, Innervision, Mood Music.

Toni's roots lie in the early days of underground warehouse parties and he has not to date lost his commitment to the underground and uncompromised musical culture. As a DJ, Lil' Tony is probably best known for his house & techno sets – Detroit, New York & Chicago house music was his first love after all – but he is remarkably unprejudiced and eclectic in his approach to music, be that for his personal listening pleasure only, or what he plays when out DJing. On the other hand Toni's got strong Disco and Soul background. Lil' Tony's main musical influences are UR, Harvey, Ron Hardy, Ron Trent, Chez Damier, Theo Parrish, Marvin Gaye, Moodyman, Blaze, Murk, Carl Craig and Basic Channel.
