The monolith of House music that is Osunlade returns to Jaeger under the Oslo World banner. His breakthrough record “Paradigm” still stands as one of the  classic records in music history which inadvertently became a new archetype for House music in the late nineties. g-HA & Olanskii and Frædag open Jaeger’s window to the world with a verteran selector whose musical cues span the breadth of the globe.

The world of music converges on Oslo, bringing the exotic sounds of the far flung reaches of the globe to the Norwegian capital for one weekend in 2019 as another Oslo World Festival ensues. Jaeger has taken on the annual nocturnal duties yet again and plays host to some of the world’s pre-eminent selectors during this weekend with Safira, SAMA, Osunlade and BADSISTA joining our residents over three nights in October/Sampling, sampling the sonic riches of the world:

The sounds Tech-House through the purview of the Palestianian DJs, SAMA and Safira; the sonic curiosities of Africa distilled through the soulful extemporisations of American House legend Osunlade; and the rich exotic rhythmic fusion of Braziliain DJ, BADSISTA, arrives at Jaeger for Oslo World Festival. Retro, Frædag, Nightflight and Ironi pull out the welcome mat with resident DJs, Daniel Gude, g-HA & Olanskii, Olefonken, MC Kaman and Charlotte Bendiks hosting our guests in Jaeger’s intimate cabin basement, providing the evening part of the programme during Oslo World Festival 2019.
