Involve Records boss Regal returns to the room for a set of undiluted, fearless techno. The Spanish artist’s reputation rests on his deadly, no-nonsense approach, which brings in electrifying rave elements, scorched-earth acid techno and pure, adrenaline-soaked warehouse sonics into a positively scalding brew that burns so good. Mos is one of NY’s best emergent talents. Working with a seething, hypnotic flow, Mos infuses his sets with a textural depth and a steely force. Club queen Memphy returns. Tracks like “Dress Code” and “Fuck” go insanely hard, grabbing the dancefloor in a vice grip and not letting go. Forsaking studio polish for a more straight-to-the-jugular approach, Memphy articulates a vision of the club as a space of brutal sensuality and unalloyed power exchanges.

Por Detroit, Mexico City’s premier queer party, makes their debut in STUDIO. The party has, for more than half a decade, brought a radical energy to their city’s underground scene. Now active in LA as well, Por Detroit is in a period of fertile growth. Party co-founder Perfect Lovers goes b2b with Victor Rodriguez, of Bears in Space. The duo is a perfect fit, pushing a cross-generational vision of throbbing, pulsating dance. Both pull from the uncompromising liberation tactics of disco, while dipping their toes into any genre they damn well please. A recent collaborative track “Inside Me” speaks to the unrepentant horniness that animates their sterling collaboration. Manu Miran keeps the energy at a fever pitch. The Visceral founder has distinguished himself in a crowded field for the sweat soaked urgency of his sets. x3butterfly seals the deal. x3 is one of the most exciting new voices to emerge from the NY underground over the last few years, bringing a heightened aesthetic sensibility to genres as varied as classic house, futuristic bass music and crunchy, old school big beat.
