The southside of Chicago lands at Jaeger as the roots of House music converge on Retro with Daniel Gude. Retro captures the essence of Jaeger’s musical versatility and weaves it seamlessly through Disco, Garage, Soul, Gospel, Acid House and Techno with a focus on the music of the past and the influences of today. A Chicago luminary and a persistent presence in DJ booths all around the world, Paul Johnson is exactly the type of guest we like to host at Retro. Representing the legacy of House music with his own roots emerging at the same time as the genre, and with his continued contributions to the genre, he is the personification of the Retro concept. Retro has been a staple on Jaeger’s calendar since day one with Daniel Gude at the helm, often joined by an international booking. Paul Johnson joins the lineup which has seen guest appearances from Richie Hawtin, Marcell Dettmann, Tama Sumo andf Jamie 3:26 in 2019.
