Retro’s pursuit is one that tirelessly aims to bring recognition to those DJs and producers that are prominent important fixtures in the annals of electronic music. Characters that toe an unconventional line and persevere in the marginalised corners of music history, writing their own versions of this music and it’s culture. Retro presents Kenny Dope in this spirit for this event.

Kenny Dope was 15 when he started hosting club events in Brooklyn and in career that spans 30 odd years today he’s both a veteran and a nuanced certainty that marks both the future and the past of electronic music’s history.
