The winter solstice is upon us and there’s an insatiable burr ensuing from the beating heart of the city. It’s lure is inescapable, enticing you away from the gluttonous consumption of the christmas feast, to lose yourself in the hedonistic spirit of the dance floor where international queer collective He.She.They call in the witching hour on the final night of Jaeger’s Romjulfestivalen. It’s carried on the echo of our pagan forefathers and calls to us like a siren’s song, a large flickering neon arrow lighting your exit; offering you a way out from the mundane conversation for a club night that is all about entertainment. He.She.They bring the cavalcade of DJs, dancers and performance artists to our basement for a night of hedonistic opulence.

As is tradition… Jaeger makes its own traditions, in a week-long program that absconds from the stale routines of christmas too get back to something a little more primitive, closer to the rituals and celebrations of the Norsk forefathers, dancing to the thump, thump of hollow drum. It’s another Romjulsfestivalen at Jaeger featuring the usual suspects, and new additions coming in 2019, like queer collective He.She.They who pair up with Maze & Masters to bring Miss Kittin and Louisahhh with Vibeke Bruff and Deadswan across two floors for the entire night.
