Hard techno

Hard techno is a subgenre of techno music that's known for being faster, heavier, and more aggressive than traditional techno. Here's a quick breakdown of what defines it:

• Tempo: Typically ranges from 135 to 150+ BPM, faster than standard techno.
• Sound: Characterized by distorted kicks, raw industrial sounds, minimal melodies, and a relentless, pounding rhythm.
• Atmosphere: Dark, intense, and often mechanical or dystopian in vibe.

• Influences: Draws from industrial, hardcore, and EBM (Electronic Body Music).

It’s popular in underground rave scenes and often played in long, high-energy DJ sets in dark clubs or warehouses. Artists like Kobosil, Paula Temple, 999999999, and I Hate Models are associated with the genre.
