Benassi Bros. is an Italian duo formed by the cousins Benny Benassi and Alle Benassi. They started DJ'ing during the late 80s in their hometown, before moving to Larry Pignagnoli's Off Limits production studio in the mid 90s, creating music for various acts, including Whigfield, J.K. and Ally & Jo. Their music comprehends on a new era of electronica, first introduced by the work of Benny Benassi on his debut album, presenting The Biz on Hypnotica, with some new fresh air inspired by the trance genre. The result is a blend of edge-cutting electro house, going back to the basics, while also giving it a brand new twist.
