Odd Mob, the brainchild of DJ/producer Harry Hope hailing from Brisbane, Australia, and formerly a dynamic duo with Robbie Jacobs, has left an indelible mark on the music scene. Best known for the sensational track "Is It a Banger?" – a viral phenomenon that claimed the 70th spot in the 2014 Triple J Hottest 100 – Odd Mob has consistently delivered chart-topping hits.
The journey began in 2013 with the release of their inaugural single, "The Tribe," followed by the infectious "Jungla" in 2014. However, it was in September of that same year that Odd Mob unleashed "Is It a Banger?" upon the world, skyrocketing to viral fame and earning its place in the coveted Triple J Hottest 100, 2014.
The pinnacle of their collaborative efforts manifested in the release of the debut EP, "Diverse Universe," in October 2015, showcasing the duo's eclectic musical range. But as the sands of time shifted, so did the lineup. In 2017, Robbie bid adieu to the band, paving the way for Harry to steer Odd Mob into a solo venture.
One of Odd Mob's crowning achievements came with the release of "Into You," featuring the sublime vocals of Australian singer/songwriter Starley. This chart-topping anthem conquered the ARIA Club Tracks chart for an impressive 7 weeks, solidifying Odd Mob's prowess in the electronic music realm.
